Anew WNBA season is getting closer and, with it, teams are starting to warm up to take the courts. Such is the case of Indiana Fever.

And if we talk about the Fever, we talk about Caitlin Clark. Last year she stole all the eyes and was named Rookie of the Year. This time, the new coach, Stephanie White, has generated alert due to her statements regarding the young star.

In her recent arrival to the team, her first words have echoed in all WNBA teams, who set off all the alarms.

In an episode of the Good Follow podcast with Ros Gold-Onwude, the former Miss Basketball from Indiana explained that they will try to improve and redefine Clark’s game. “From a basketball perspective, we have to make sure we help her diversify her defining ability so that she’s not predictable”, Stephanie White said, explaining:

We can’t be so predictable with so much athleticism, speed, quickness and with so much game plan geared toward her.

The truth is, with the level Caitlin has shown over the past season, continuing to increase her game chances is an ace up Indiana Fever’s sleeve and could put them over the top of their rivals.

What’s in store for Clark and the Fever?

The truth is, with Caitlin leading the charge, Indiana finished last season with a 20-20 record, although they were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.

Now, the Fever will be looking for better results in a new WNBA season and the second for Clark. The big day will be May 17 and they will host Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith’s Chicago Sky at home. Will we see a less predictable Caitlin here?
