What is at Stake for Monterrey and Nashville SC?
This is the third and final Phase One match for both clubs. Monterrey and Nashville each enter with three points after splitting their first two games, leaving both in need of a win and help elsewhere in the league-specific standings.
Nashville followed a 1-0 loss to León with a 4-1 win over Atlético de San Luis. Monterrey answered a 2-1 loss to Orlando City with a 2-1 comeback victory over Inter Miami. The clubs also met in the 2023 Leagues Cup semifinal, when Nashville won 2-0.

How Does Leagues Cup Phase One Work?
Each of the 36 participating clubs plays three matches against teams from the opposite league. The top four MLS clubs and top four Liga MX clubs in separate league tables advance to the quarterfinals. The top three tournament finishers qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup.
