Hailee Steinfeld has openly described her recent wedding to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen as both “unforgettable” and “magical.” In her Beau Society newsletter released last Friday, the “Sinners” star shared intimate details and stunning photographs from their black-tie ceremony, giving fans a personal look into the highly anticipated event.
Steinfeld reflected on the weeks following the nuptials, noting how “random yet very specific memories have been popping back into our heads.” She shared that she and Allen have been “blurting them out to each other, often through smiles, laughs, and tears,” underscoring the deep joy and lasting impact of the day. The Oscar nominee further added, “It felt like love was running through the veins of every tree at our gorgeous venue in Santa Barbara. Our family and friends coming together amplified it.”
The wedding festivities began the night before the ceremony with an intimate dinner for their immediate families, followed by a welcome party the next day for all their guests. On the morning of their wedding, Steinfeld and Allen bucked tradition by having an early breakfast together. Steinfeld affectionately wrote, “I don’t think I could’ve gone the whole day without seeing him!”
For the ceremony itself, Steinfeld walked down the aisle with her father, wearing a breathtaking custom strapless gown designed by Tamara Ralph. She had a special fitting for the dress in Paris, immediately after the London premiere of her box office hit “Sinners.” Recounting the moment, Steinfeld shared, “On our wedding day, when I put on this dress, I actually lost my breath. I’ve never felt more like myself and more beautiful.” She added that seeing Allen at the altar was equally impactful, as he “looked like the man of every dream I’ve ever had,” making the walk “the most surreal thing I’d ever seen.”
The couple ensured their celebration was truly personal, opting for a “no-phone wedding,” a decision Steinfeld highly recommends as “one of the best decisions we made.” Allen, for his part, chose a classic look in a custom Tom Ford tuxedo. Steinfeld reported that Allen was “stunned” when he saw her at the altar, and he later described the wedding as “the most important decision I’ll make in my life and I made the right one,” proudly referencing his new wedding ring during the Bills minicamp.
Following their reception, the newlyweds hosted an exclusive underground afterparty that lasted until 3 a.m., featuring a DJ, a cigar bar, and late-night snacks like grilled cheese sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies with shot glasses of milk. Steinfeld also revealed that the night culminated with friends jumping into the pool in their formal attire. While she didn’t join due to her feathered dress, she captured the moments on disposable cameras, promising to share those candid photos with fans soon. Their unique touches, like a single crystal rose instead of a bouquet and signature “Brando Old Fashioned” and “Teenie Tiny Margarita” drinks, made their day truly unforgettable.
