Off the field, Allen and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, are preparing to welcome their first child, a milestone that has reshaped their routines and perspectives as they anticipate life as new parents.
In the Friday, February 20, edition of her “Beau Society” newsletter, Steinfeld shared details about her pregnancy journey, including reflections on organizing their lives and embracing the emotional adjustments that come with expecting a baby.
“The reality that our little family is about to grow really started to settle in,” Steinfeld said. “Of course, I have all the to-do lists (which you know I love), and I’ve been busy with research and the general life reorganization that happens when you’re about to have a baby.
“But the most profound and grounding part of getting ready for this baby has been the introspective side of it: the quiet conversations I’m having with myself almost every day.
“Sometimes I find myself asking big, lofty questions (what am I going to be like as a mom?) or having vivid daydreams of what our life is about to look like when the three of us are cuddled up in the nursery together.
“While tuning in, I’ve experienced this surreal, full-body awareness that our world is about to expand in beautiful ways.”
Allen and Steinfeld reportedly began dating in early 2021, after being publicly linked later that year. The couple’s relationship progressed quickly, and they became engaged in 2022.
They married in June 2023, solidifying their partnership as they now prepare to welcome their first child together sometime in 2026.

Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills are also eyeing roster upgrades as they consider free agent wideout Mike Evans, who could add a veteran presence and scoring threat to Josh Allen’s offense, potentially ending Buffalo’s decades-long Super Bowl drought.
Evans, who will turn 33 in August, missed 10 games last season due to injury but remains a dominant red-zone threat. His agent, Deryk Gilmore, told ESPN he plans to return in 2026 while keeping options open, drawing potential interest from the Bills.
A six-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl LX champion with the Buccaneers, Evans has remained loyal to Tampa Bay but may consider a move to Brady‘s old division, where he could finally help Allen reach the Super Bowl after past disappointments.
Since Stefon Diggs’ departure in 2023, the Bills have struggled to find a consistent elite target, relying on a mix of weapons and running back James Cook alongside Allen‘s passing, a combination that fell short in Buffalo’s 33-30 playoff loss to Denver.
Adding Evans would not only give Allen a proven receiver but also provide leadership and experience in high-pressure moments, complementing their offseason adjustments, and giving the Bills a stronger chance to contend in 2026.
