The 2026 Genesis Scottish Open winner will take home $1.575 million from a total tournament purse of $9 million.
The event is being played at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland, and remains one of the biggest stops before The Open Championship.

The winner’s share represents 17.5 percent of the total purse.

The champion will receive $1,575,000, while the runner-up is set to earn $954,000.
Third place is worth $594,000, with fourth paying $414,000 and fifth earning $342,000.
The payout continues down the leaderboard, with every player who makes the cut receiving a share of the $9 million purse.
According to the PGA Tour’s purse breakdown, sixth place pays $306,000, seventh is worth $283,500, and eighth earns $261,000.
The event also carries FedExCup importance, with 500 points available to the winner.
That makes the Scottish Open more than just a final tune-up before a major. It can have a direct impact on playoff positioning and season-long momentum.
