Luka Doncic’s physical transformation this summer, which he captured in a report for Men’s Health magazine, is still making headlines.

Slovenian media and Sports Illustrated have revealed the exact weight that Doncic, who has just extended his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers for 3 years and $165 million, has lost since the end of the NBA season: 14.06 kilos (31 pounds).

“Doncic has lost more than 13 kilos since last summer,” an NBA source told ‘DallasHoopsJournal.com’.

Luka Doncic shared with the world his weight loss process in a report for ‘Men’s Health’ magazine and explained the methodology of the double 90-minute training sessions to which he underwent in Croatia with his personal trainer Anze Macek.

“If I stop now it will have been in vain. Every summer I try my best to work on different things,” he said. “Obviously, I’m very competitive. This summer was a little bit different, you know? It motivated me to be even better. It was a now or never,” the Slovenian explained.

Doncic said that “it’s not all about jumping high” and stressed that “I think I’m very athletic in other things: in balance, in body control, in what I do when I brake, in deceleration”.
