The tragic night for theLos Angeles Dodgers led them to lose their unbeaten home streak this season, as they suffered the worst home shutout in franchise history, being crushed 16-0 by the Chicago Cubs in a game that was close until the last three innings.

The debacle represented the first official one for Japanese pitcherRoki Sasaki, who has struggled to show his talent in Major League Baseball, but on Saturday night he suffered with the demands of the umpires, with a fair strike zone and, despite everything, after five innings, he left the game 1-0 down, only with a home run by Michael Busch in the second inning.

Michael Busch was a standout prospect in the Dodgers minor league system, and he came out inspired by getting four hits, with the aforementioned home run and two doubles, to drive in three runs, but also his brilliant performance and the lopsided score, was not the only thing that upset the Los Angeles fans, also an attitude of Miguel Rojas at the end of the game.

Miguel Rojas detonates the ire of Dodgers fans

A 16-0 defeat must have hurt Dodgers fans and all the players, but the team’s supporters did not take kindly to Miguel Rojas’ behavior, who at the end of the game imitated the pitching style of Roki Sasaki and Clayton Kershaw, to be branded on social media as a “clown”.

“Miguel Rojas decided to imitate Clayton Kershaw and Roki Sasaki on the mound. The Cubs would score five runs in the ninth inning and win 16-0,” Fox Sports MLB posted in an image on Instagram, in an attitude that did not sit well with Dodgers fans, after enduring humiliation, despite having one of the most talented lineups in MLB led by Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman.
