Wawrinka’s last match. “I can boast of calling him a friend. He has been an inspiration to me for what he has brought to the courts. He has shown a great passion for tennis.”
Americans without big titles. “They have a lot of tournaments, including a Grand Slam. That means the federation has money. The game changed and maybe they didn’t adapt like the Europeans. In girls they are fine”.

Chances of winning. “If there’s a Grand Slam where I have a chance it’s this one because it’s early in the season. If I believed I couldn’t win I wouldn’t be here.
