Deontay Wilder’s career is in clear decline, but at 39 years of age, the American boxer is still hopeful of shining again in the heavyweight division, of which he was already world champion and, along the way, he has a couple of opponents in his sights.

Wilder’s next opponent (43-4, 42 KOs) will be Tyrrell Anthony Herndon on June 27 in Wichita, Kansas, in a 10-round fight that will allow him to resume activity after stepping away following a technical knockout loss to Zhilei Zhang

After that, Wilder will be able to focus on his budding rivalry against Jarrell Miller, who has Bronze Bomber upset because he has been criticizing him. In a chat with TMZ Sports, he launched a strong threat, in which he hopes that Big Baby has his funeral arrangements ready after he said that if he accepted a fight he was going to kick his ass.

“I hope he’s already paid for his burial,” Wilder replied when asked by TMZ Sports at LAX and about Miller he added that he doesn’t like to play with him: “If I saw him today, I’d give him a good slap right now. I don’t mess around.”

Wilder seeks to become undisputed heavyweight champion

At 39 years of age, Deontay Wilder is planning a comeback that will see him dominate the heavyweight division, and his goal is to be the undisputed champion. To achieve this, he would have to dethrone Oleksandr Usyk, although to get to him, he must first return to the ring

“This is just my return. I’m going for all the belts in the heavyweight division,” Wilder told TMZ.

To get back to big fights, Wilder will have to get back into the swing of things. Nothing is yet agreed with Miller, but he has said he wants to get in the ring with Francis Ngannou.
