In a video circulating on social media, Shedeur and Deion discuss the events of draft weekend. In the footage, the Colorado Buffaloes head coach can be heard saying, “This ain’t the work of God,” to which Shedeur immediately responds, “That’s the Devil.”
The video, captioned “No way this gotta be about football,” aligns with Sanders’ outspoken personality. However, some analysts warn that this attitude could follow Shedeur into the NFL, raising questions about whether the already volatile Browns locker room can handle his presence.
Wynston Wilcox of Fansided pointed out that Cleveland’s $230 million contract with Deshaun Watson destabilized the locker room-especially given that the quarterback missed half of the 2024 season and may miss much of 2025 due to an Achilles tendon injury.
Adding to the uncertainty are Cleveland’s perplexing draft choices. The team selected quarterback Dillon Gabriel in the third round, only to take Shedeur Sanders the next day. As a result, the Browns now have five quarterbacks: Watson, Gabriel, Sanders, Joe Flacco, and Kenny Pickett.
