The Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders has endured a challenging journey since the NFL Draft, where he saw his stock plummet in the draft order. The truth is,ily, he has remained remarkably patient while awaiting his first real opportunity in the NFL. Only he and his family truly know how tough it’s been, but recently he posted a powerful message on social media that received support from his father, Deion Sanders.

Shedeur Sanders’ powerful post

Before this message, the Browns traded Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals. After seeing Kenny Pickett previously sent to the Raiders, the starting quarterback job went to Dillon Gabriel. Despite now being the QB2, Shedeur has yet to get his chance.

The former Colorado Buffaloes player was selected in the fifth round and has stayed positive, even supporting his teammate. It’s also worth noting he’s received family support-his brother even came to visit him.

Though he hasn’t played, Shedeur still believes in his destiny as a QB1 and wrote the following on social media:

“The greatest lesson I’ve learned through it all is not to worry but to lean on and trust GOD in every situation. Even when I don’t know what to do, I’ve learned that GOD will always guide me. I live stress-free because I know that, no matter what, GOD has the final say over my life. I’m able to persevere through trials because I come from a family built on morals, values, and unshakable principles. Growing up, I had access to a lot, and maybe without my understanding shaped my world view, but I’ve realized that peace, purpose, and faith can’t be bought. They have to be built. True success is who you become while waiting on GOD’s timing. GOD’s pace protects what your purpose will one day require.”

In response, Deion Sanders, the college football head coach, replied: “Amen! Son.”

There’s no doubt Shedeur Sanders is a fan favorite, and many more want to see him on the field. However, it seems we’ll have to wait for that moment.
