According to MLB columnist Bob Nightengale, who posted on his official account on the social network X (formerly Twitter): “The Dodgers are close to making it official: Game 1: Blake Snell, Game 2: Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Game 3 (if necessary): Shohei Ohtani.”

The Los Angeles Dodgers’ concerns are elsewhere

While the Los Angeles Dodgers’ starting rotation is shaping up to be one of the team’s main strengths in the postseason, their bullpen is what’s complicating things.

Tanner Scott has struggled with a 4.64 ERA in what has become a nightmare season. Then Blake Treinen has not fared much better, posting an 11.57 ERA in September. Finally, Kirby Yates, who signed for $13 million, is out of consideration. And Michael Kopech is out with a knee injury that could keep him out of the playoffs. So Roki Sasaki is the leading candidate to cover the Los Angeles Dodgers’ bullpen struggles in the playoffs.
