The glamour and energy of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders is not limited to the field. This weekend, part of the famous squad known as “America’s Sweethearts” took their joy and style to Austin, Texas, to celebrate a bachelorette party with all the necessary ingredients: bikinis, a boat and a bride-to-be.

Tori Skillings, a four-year veteran of the team, was the star of the celebration. With her wedding just around the corner, her teammates decided to throw her a weekend party at the lake. The atmosphere was one of pure celebration, with laughter, hugs, and of course, swimsuits that shone as brightly as their smiles.

Among those in attendance was Megan McElaney, another cheerleader who shared her excitement for the occasion, and made it clear how special the event was: “The Captain is getting married!! This weekend was everything and more! Love your Tor Tor!”. The affectionate nickname reflects the strong bond between the teammates who not only share dance routines, but also intimate and memorable moments off stage.

Kleine Powell, who was also on the boat, posted a picture of the group accompanied by the phrase: “What’s better than a day on the boat? A day on the boat celebrating our bride @toriskills”. With a sunny setting and calm waters, the scene was perfect to capture memories before Skillings says “I do”.

Another farewell in Cabo San Lucas

This has not been the only recent wedding event among the cheerleaders. Jessica Bowman, another member of the team, held her own bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas in March. The personal festivities come at an interesting time for the Dallas Cowboys, who during the spring did not generate much sporting buzz, at least until owner Jerry Jones made good on his promise to make a move.

This move was the acquisition of wide receiver George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers in a bid to bolster Dak Prescott‘s arsenal. Although it has divided opinion due to the player’s controversial attitude on the field, many fans are hoping he will form a powerful duo with CeeDee Lamb.

While the team’s performance in the 2025 season is still unknown, what is clear is that the cheerleaders continue to be an inexhaustible source of content and media presence. With events like this, they reaffirm why they are more than cheerleaders: they are ambassadors of the spectacle and pop culture that surrounds the Lone Star team.

In times of uncertainty for the franchise, these refreshing and joyful celebrations offer a glimpse into camaraderie and life beyond the stadium. And fans certainly appreciate every image and post that allows them to follow these iconic sports entertainment figures up close.
