Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is dealing with a personal situation that could impact his NFL season, as his name continues to surface in headlines following his split from ex-fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos.

Dak Prescott confirms split in court documents

Prescott has now officially confirmed his separation in court documents, nearly a month after the couple called off their wedding, according to TMZ and Us Weekly.

In the filing, the Cowboys QB acknowledges the relationship is over as they move into co-parenting their two daughters: two-year-old MJ and 11-month-old Aurora.

Both sides are working toward an amicable custody agreement, prioritizing stability for their children.

Prescott is specifically requesting to be named “joint managing conservator”, alongside Ramos.

The documents state:

“The parents of the children are separated. The appointment of the parents as joint managing conservators would be in the best interest of the children.”

As previously reported, the breakup came just weeks before their planned wedding in Italy, with private tensions ultimately canceling the ceremony.

Now, instead of wedding plans, the situation has shifted into legal proceedings. Still, sources close to the former couple indicate both sides are satisfied with how the separation has unfolded so far.
