Tavia Hunt couldn’t resist sharing her pride as her daughter, Ava Hunt, dazzled in full cheerleader mode at Southern Methodist University. The Kansas City Chiefs heiress, who just turned 19, looked every bit the all-American girl as she rocked her SMU Mustangs uniform – and proud mom Tavia made sure the world saw it.
The heartwarming photo, showing Tavia hugging her cheerleader daughter, headlined a family-filled slideshow the Chiefs’ first lady recently posted on Instagram. The fresh photo comes during a busy and exciting time for the Hunt family.
Ava has been spending a lot of quality time with her parents – Tavia and Chiefs owner Clark Hunt – as well as her viral older sister, Gracie Hunt, 26.
Ava misses the holidays
Notably, the two sisters share the exact same birthday and often twin with stunning looks, from their all-black fits at a Buffalo Bills game to leather ensembles at an FC Dallas match – another team the Hunt family owns.
Ava, currently a sophomore at SMU, recently confirmed she’ll be returning to the cheer squad next season. But while her athletic spirit is strong, she couldn’t help but express a hint of longing for her tropical escape.
In a “later gram” from her family’s spring break trip to Cabo San Lucas, Ava posted glamorous poolside snaps, captioning one, “Missing this,” as she soaked up the Mexican sun.
The Hunts are the closest family in the NFL
Beyond the cheer event, Tavia’s April photo dump included more family highlights, like stylish outings and festive gatherings. It’s clear that despite the fast-paced world of NFL royalty, the Hunts value their time together.
With Ava gearing up for SMU cheer tryouts on April 4-5, and her family cheering her on at every step, it’s shaping up to be another winning season – both on the sidelines and at home.
