On Wednesday, the Indiana Fever unveiled a new uniform inspired by Netflix’s Stranger Things, the hit series set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. The reveal featured the team’s star, Caitlin Clark, who continues to recover from a lingering groin injury.

The design carries retro touches – black as the primary color, with the Stranger Things lettering in red across the chest. Details include Demogorgon accents and the number 011 on the waistband, a nod to the beloved character Eleven.

This jersey represents the fierce spirit of our team and the fearless energy of Stranger Things – two forces that never back down. As we celebrate our team and the cultural phenomenon that is Stranger Things, we’re thrilled to bring back this awesome collaboration with Netflix.

Fever chief operating officer and general manager Amber Cox said in a statement.

Reaction on social media was massive. Fans flooded X with their excitement over the post.

“This season like a Stranger Things episode,” one wrote.

“We don’t just want merch. We want them to play in it also,” added another.

“I’d say the way things are going, the upside down is winning. Time for a change. Whatever they are doing isn’t working,” suggested a third.

At the moment, the Fever remain in contention for a playoff spot and are fighting to reach the WNBA Finals. However, they must improve their consistency.

While they hover around a .500 record and sometimes string together impressive wins, they’ve also mixed in costly losses that prevent them from building the desired momentum.

Stranger Things Rebel edition now on sale

The commemorative jersey, quickly embraced by fans, is already available for purchase. It can be ordered directly from the Indiana Fever’s website for $130, with the option to choose the number of your favorite player – perfect for wearing proudly at your next game.

The collection also includes caps, T-shirts, hoodies and tank tops, extending the fandom for both the team and the Stranger Things universe. All items are sold through the team’s official store.

The Fever’s next matchup is on July 24 against the Las Vegas Aces – a crucial game, as Las Vegas currently sits just half a game ahead of Indiana. A win would tighten the race heading into the final stretch of the season.

Now is the time to grab the new Stranger Things, themed jersey and rally behind the Fever, as the retro uniform pays homage to a Netflix classic that has already become a global phenomenon.
