Caitlin Clark‘s groin injury meant that, among the games she had to miss, she was sidelined from the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game.
Unfortunately for her, Team Collier defeated Team Clark 151-131, and although she was unable to participate in the game, she remained active throughout the weekend, attending events and supporting her teammates.
Clark receives a curious nickname
However, Minnesota Lynx players Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman also had fun during their 72-hour live stream. On their Twitch channel “StudBudz,” the duo quickly captured the attention of fans with their antics and personality.
During the live stream, 31-year-old Courtney and 28-year-old Natisha began discussing the situation where you need to call someone if you want to access something, and in the middle of the conversation, a funny nickname for CC came up.
“They tryna tell me I couldn’t be here and there,” Hiedman explained, to which Williams replied, “So you had to call in the president.” Natisha quickly echoed her teammate’s words: “I’m calling in the president!” and Williams said, “I’m calling the president, where’s Caitlin Clark?“
Of course, fans were amazed by this new nickname, and in the clip posted by the channel’s official Instagram account, creativity and jokes came to light:
“I need help with my parking tickets; where is Caitlin Clark??” commented one fan. In the same vein, another user said, “My package ain’t come in yet; WHERE IS CAITLIN CLARK??” A third added, “License and registration. WHERE IS CAITLIN CLARK?!“
“CC’s nickname from now on is Madam President,” joked another. “We need ‘WHERE IS CAITLIN CLARK?!’ t-shirts asap,” suggested another follower.
Meanwhile, the return of “Madam President” is not confirmed. The 23-year-old star missed her second consecutive game on Tuesday against the New York Liberty and is likely to miss more games. Now, Indiana awaits the Las Vegas Aces next Thursday, July 24, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
