The matchups between Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky are ones that no one wants to miss, especially because of the sporting rivalry between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.

However, it is likely that both will be out for the match on Sunday, July 27, at the United Center.

Reese’s back injury could be a reason for her to be out of this game as well, after watching from the bench as her team fell 95-57 to the Seattle Storm. Her return is not confirmed.

Meanwhile, Caitlin will miss her fourth consecutive game due to a persistent groin injury, and is likely to miss more games.

However, in the run-up to the game, CC didn’t miss the opportunity to have fun with her teammates.

Clark and Cunningham star in a fun moment

On Saturday morning, before traveling to Chicago, Indiana held practice at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. There, Fever reporter Brian Haenchen’s camera captured a curious moment between Clark and the team.

In a shooting contest, Sophie Cunningham fell to Makayla Timpson. Caitlin enthusiastically celebrates her teammate’s victory or her friend’s defeat. With energy, she suggests that the rookie step over Cunningham, who was crouching on the floor in defeat. And Timpson doesn’t hesitate to obey.

In the end, CC can also be seen trying to step over Sophie as well, albeit more carefully.

And although the Fever star was training, her performance was still limited. Her return is not confirmed.
