Even though she is quickly becoming a prospect of a legend inside the WNBA in just a matter of a year, she described meeting James as a dream come true and as an unforgettable experience.

The two met initially in March 2025 after an Indiana Pacers game. Clark then described the meeting as “crazy,” highlighting how a special experience it was to meet someone she had admired for so long. The moment was made even sweeter when James posted a picture of their meeting on his Instagram with a motivational caption: “Good luck and DO YOU per usual this season!!!“. Clark then warmly responded, saying, “The greatest of all time. Thank you!!.“
Their friendship also kept growing when James publicly congratulated Clark on her triple-double performance in her WNBA season opener, tweeting, “TRIPLE DUB CC!! Great way to kick off the season!” Clark responded with another display of appreciation, solidifying her respect and admiration for the NBA great.
