Brittany could not hide her emotions after sharing a touching scene between her husband, the Kansas City ChiefsPatrick Mahomes, and their daughter, Sterling, as they shared a special moment in the Kingdom documentary.

It was a quiet but meaningful exchange between father and daughter and it seems to have melted the 29-year-old mother’s heart in a clip recorded ahead of Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.

In the video, Patrick knelt to embrace Sterling, who ran to him for a hug. Brittany reposted the footage with the simple caption, “My heart,” accompanied by a teary-eyed emoji and a white love heart emoji.

The scene, and more behind-closed-doors glimpses to the Mahomes‘, will be featured in The Kingdom, which debuts on Thursday, August 14 with fans able to watch via ESPN+ and Disney+.

The series promises to present a comprehensive look at the Chiefs‘ recent seasons, balancing competitive moments with the personal lives of its stars, including the likes of Patrick Mahomes.

This NFL offseason offered rare downtime for the family as Patrick was also seen enjoying moments with Sterling, now four, and their son Bronze, aged two, during a Florida theme park visit.

The family also took a tropical vacation, during which Brittany posted photos of their newest child, Golden Raye, born in January near the close of last season ahead of the Chiefs‘ clash with the Houston Texans.

With the season approaching, the Chiefs enter the 2025/26 NFL season without the title of defending champions for the first time in three years as the Philadelphia Eagles snatched it away from them in February.

Now as Patrick prepares to lead the team back to the top, he continues to be grounded by his role at home, where Brittany and their three children remain a constant source of support for the star QB.

Where to Watch Kansas City Chiefs vs Seattle Seahawks? All the details you need

While the Mahomes family moments have drawn attention, the three-time Super Bowl champion’s focus has already shifted toward the new campaign as Kansas City’s preseason preparations continue this week as they face the Seattle Seahawks.

Previously, the Chiefs traveled to Arizona, where they fell 20-17 to the Cardinals and Patrick played only one drive, completing his sole pass attempt for a single yard, a short touchdown throw, before giving way to backups.

His head coach, Andy Reid, is expected to extend the starters’ playing time in the upcoming matchup to better prepare for the regular season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil on September 5.

However just how much action Mahomes actually gets remains to be seen as the team looks to protect him from injury so close to the start of the season too. The meeting with Seattle will take place at Lumen Field on Friday, August 15, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. PT and 10 p.m. ET.

For Kansas City viewers, KSHB (Channel 41) will carry the broadcast, while KFNZ (96.5 FM) and KNSS (98.7 FM) will air the game on radio. Seahawks fans can watch on KING 5 or listen via Seattle Sports (710 AM) and KIRO Newsradio (97.3 FM).
