Her ankle injury has not prevented Napheesa Collier from being there for her team.
The Minnesota Lynx have managed to recover from her absence in the last five games, losing only to the New York Liberty. And although she was not on the court, she was just another fan cheering them on from the sidelines, and she stole the show.
Collier’s looks capture attention
Napheesa decided to share seven photos with her 297,000 followers on her official Instagram account, showing her on the court wearing outfits that did not go unnoticed by her fans. Nor by Angel Reese.
The Chicago Sky star made her long-awaited return to the court after a lengthy absence due to a back injury that caused her to miss seven consecutive games with the team.
However, she was also active on social media, commenting on and highlighting the fashion choices made by the 6-foot-1 forward. “I have to say Phee… the outfits this season have been 10/10,” Angel wrote.
Napheesa didn’t hesitate and quickly responded, giving her a curious nickname: “@angelreese5 high praise from the fashion queennnn,” she wrote alongside a red heart emoji.
The truth is that, beyond the game, Reese has established herself as a fashion icon, working in collaboration with different brands, such as Reebok, and wearing eye-catching outfits.
The post by the WNBA MVP favorite did not go unnoticed by a sports legend. Lisa Leslie not only “liked” the post, but also left a few words for Collier: “Adorable but ready for you to play,” Leslie commented.
Despite Lisa’s words, Napheesa remains doubtful for the matchup against Brittney Griner and the Atlanta Dream on Thursday, August 21.
