Angel Reese‘s present is a dream come true. The young Chicago Sky star announced on her social networks two incredible achievements on a personal level.
Before the WNBA season starts, Reese is already succeeding and took to social media to share that, at 22, she owns her own home. This announcement comes just three months after she managed to retire her mother by paying off her mortgage.
Despite the congratulations of several users for her achievements, it did not take long for all kinds of criticism to arrive.
In the social network X, her looks do not go unnoticed and have been the subject of criticism saying that “they are not appropriate”. In addition, after making it known in a post that her salary of $73,439 did not pay her bills and joking about it, the comments were not long in coming.
In a forceful post Reese gave a strong response:
They said ‘she has to cover herself,’ so I went to the cover of VOGUE. “They said ‘she can’t afford rent,’ so I went and bought a house
What accomplishments does Angel Reese hope to achieve now?
In her second season with Chicago Sky, Angel is generating high expectations from the fans and the team. After being selected No. 7 overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft, she has only added weight to her name with her incredible play. Reese averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game.
She also finished her rookie season in second place behind Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark and was named a WNBA All-Star.
With all this, Reese has shown that she is here to stay and that, facing a new season, she will try to leave her name and the Chicago Sky’s name at the top.
