The Las Vegas Aces managed to break the tie with just seconds left to take the 75-72 victory over the visiting Washington Mystics.

With a 2-1 record in their favor, the game-winner, Jewell Loyd, stole the show, but she wasn’t the only one.

Jackie Young led the Aces to victory, contributing twenty-five points, five rebounds, dishing out three assists, stealing the ball twice and grabbing a block. Despite this, star player A’ja Wilson did not shine in the way she is used to.

She only made 5 of 13 shots from the field and scored only 15 points. However, he grabbed 12 rebounds, assisted five times, had three blocks and two steals.

This statistic made him break his own record and total more than 500 assists in his professional career. In view of this fact, Wilson left a strong message on his social networks.

Making use of his official Instagram account, A’ja shared this milestone in his stories and jokingly wrote:

“…and my lil yea yea says I don’t pass.”

To the caption, she also added three emojis: a woman tipping her hand by her shoulder, fingernails being painted and a raised middle finger.
