In a new DoorDash ad, titled DoorDash Beef 101, the rapper and actor transforms a simple delivery bag into a clever collection of inside jokes aimed squarely at some of his longest-running adversaries.
While the tone is playful, the intent is unmistakable, with Sean “Diddy” Combs, Ja Rule, and Floyd Mayweather all seemingly on the receiving end of 50 Cent’s signature brand of humor.

Almost immediately, that statement is undercut when he grabs DoorDash’s bright orange bag, and bold text flashes across the screen confirming that he absolutely would do just that.
As the ad unfolds, 50 Cent methodically pulls items from the bag, each one acting as a not-so-subtle reference. A children’s alphabet book is the first clue, widely interpreted as a swipe at Floyd Mayweather. Once close friends, the two famously fell out over a failed business venture and financial disagreements.
Over the years, 50 Cent has repeatedly mocked the boxing legend’s reading skills, even offering large sums of money to charity if Mayweather would read a children’s book aloud. The prop revives that history without ever naming names.
Masterclass in timing and wordplay
Next comes a ticking clock, which appears to reference Ja Rule and his early 2000s hit about always being on time. The rivalry between the two rappers dates back to the late 1990s and includes diss tracks, public insults, and physical confrontations.
The clock may also hint at time lost, a possible nod to Ja Rule’s prison sentence in the early 2010s, adding another layer to the visual joke.
The digs continue with a bag of Cheese Puffs and a comb, items that clearly point toward Sean “Diddy” Combs. The Cheese Puffs play on Diddy‘s long history of “Puff”-related nicknames, while the comb pokes fun at his last name.
50 Cent then seamlessly transitions into promoting his own Branson Cognac, joking about aging and counting months in a way that appears to reference a four-year, or 50-month, prison sentence, reinforcing the ad’s underlying theme of calculated insults.
The commercial ends with 50 Cent relaxed on the couch, clearly amused by his own performance. Thanks to a blend of humor and personal history, he turns lingering feuds into prime-time entertainment.
