In a viral video, Louisa Melcher revealed that she is divorcing her husband after witnessing him join in the booing of pop sensation Taylor Swift during Super Bowl LIX earlier this month.

Louisa shared her dramatic decision on social media, explaining how the incident at the game symbolized deeper issues in their relationship.

Speaking to her 57,400 followers on Instagram and TikTok, Louisa was seen sitting in her car outside a courthouse, seemingly after filing for divorce.

“I’m divorcing my husband because he booed Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl, and I still don’t think he believes me,” Louisa said, holding up paperwork as proof.

“He might want to start believing me, though, because I just filed my paperwork.”

What other factors were at play?

Louisa went on to explain that the divorce wasn’t solely because of the booing, but because of what it represented in her marriage.

According to Louisa, she and her husband had both enjoyed Taylor Swift’s music together, with her husband even playing it while they cooked.

“He has a favorite song-‘Girl at Home’-and I thought we were on the same page,” she continued.

However, the Super Bowl incident turned everything upside down. When Taylor appeared on the Jumbotron, Louisa’s husband joined in with his friends in booing the singer. Louisa was hurt by his behavior, especially since he had previously supported Taylor.

“He didn’t care that it would hurt my feelings,” Louisa said, explaining how her husband was more concerned with fitting in with his friends than respecting her feelings.

“He just wanted to look cool, and that’s not a man, that’s a boy.”

With a sense of closure, Louisa also revealed that she had a prenup in place, ensuring that she would retain all of her assets, including those she inherited.

“He probably won’t be returning to the Super Bowl anytime soon, so that’s one less booer for you,” she joked.

Taylor, I love you.”

The video sparked mixed reactions online. Many people questioned the authenticity of Louisa’s claims. One user pointed out a contradiction in her profile, where she seemed to have a boyfriend in LA, leading some to suspect the video might be satire.

Others, however, believed the post was genuine and mocked Louisa’s husband, claiming he was better off without her.
