The Pittsburgh Steelers are already tired, fed up, just like their fanbase, of Aaron Rodgers’ antics of continuing to maintain a pointless mystery about whether he will retire from the NFL.

This situation is nothing new; it is the fifth consecutive time the player has come out with this behavior, which only wears everyone down. It is also particularly noteworthy that the Steelers’ front office allows itself to be pushed around by the quarterback.

With that in mind, according to several reports, Pittsburgh already has its eye on another player who has impressed them and would allow them to stop waiting like a capricious child for Rodgers to make his decision.

Kirk Cousins could be on the Pittsburgh Steelers’ radar

The quarterback, formerly of the Atlanta Falcons and the Minnesota Vikings, was released by the former and became a free agent. Although he remains without a team for now, it is said that this will not last long.

From the perspective of several analysts, he could very well end up playing for the Green Bay Packers, who recently saw Malik Willis depart, and Cousins could fill that backup role behind Jordan Love.

If that move does not materialize, then he could be headed to Pittsburgh, where, in the view of Cris Carter, he would be the best option for a franchise seeking an experienced player who still has a strong hunger for success.

NFL Free Agency Winners & Losers, Did Any Team Actually Get Better?

If Pittsburgh doesn’t decide with Aaron Rodgers, I believe they go for Kirk Cousins, which I believe is a better option.

Carter stated on his podcast, Fully Loaded.

Why does Carter think this is the best option for the Steelers? “Because he can play multiple years. And, I mean, Kirk Cousins is a good thrower of the football as you can get. Now, they’ve still gotta improve their offensive line, still improve their running game. But I like Kirk Cousins because there’s a plan into the future.

Added the former receiver.

However, there are doubts surrounding this because Cousins looks solid at his age, and after suffering a torn Achilles tendon, he appears to take great care of himself. That is why he could fit onto a roster as a strong backup quarterback, though perhaps not as a primary starter.

That’s why it’s so hard for him to retire, because there ain’t no drama once you retire… We’ll see if he disappears into the sunset like he said he would. We’ll see. That attention is addicting.

Fans are demanding an immediate resolution regarding Rodgers’ stance. They should not allow him to continue with his tantrum and should move on from him so he does not waste any more of their time.
