Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts’ heart is completely full, as it was just last September that he reported that he will marry his fiancee, Bryonna ‘Bry’ Rivera Burrows, after a formal relationship of just over 18 months, after they formally began their relationship in January 2023, when she joined her boyfriend to celebrate the pass to the Super Bowl, when they won in San Francisco in the game for the NFC Championship against the 49ers.
Before making their engagement public, Hurts kept his relationship with Burrows out of the public eye and his Instagram account only included photos of his professional career, such as his charity work, and he only began to post information about their relationship once it was formalized.
Two months later, Hurts spoke openly about her relationship with Burrows during an interview with Essence and explained that they had been dating on and off since they met at the University of Alabama, but were already engaged.

In that interview, Hurts acknowledged that “I knew a long time ago” that Burrows was the one for him: “I mean, at this point in my life, that’s an irreplaceable feeling. I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now,” he explained
Since then, Bry has shown her support for her fiance on and off the field, even accompanying him to Rio de Janeiro for the 2024 season kickoff, when the Eagles played against the Green Bay Packers in early September. At that time they confirmed that they were engaged.
A little more about Bry Burrows’ life
Hurts and Burrow first crossed paths at the University of Alabama, during their student days. Hurts was a successful quarterback for the college team between 2016 and 2018, before switching to the University of Oklahoma for his senior year.
The couple met at the Alabama Greek picnic: Burrows is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. sorority, while Hurts belongs to the Omega Psi Phi, Inc. fraternity
Burrows graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and political science. She then earned her master’s degree in business administration from Alabama’s Manderson School of Business, according to her LinkedIn account.
As she neared graduation, Burrows began her career at IBM as a senior customer experience consultant in Dallas. She has since risen through the ranks at the company, serving as a sales executive and software financing leader before assuming her current role as a partner in the artificial intelligence space.
While with her fiance, they share a taste for philanthropy-related actions.
Bry supports a group of young people so that they can study technology careers. She has participated in several educational events, including as a coach in the eight-week IBM Accelerate program in 2022, which helps prepare college students from minority backgrounds to enter the business world. She is also an activist for diversity and inclusion and works with other charities
But she is also a lover of outdoor activities: “I am very #extroverted and being outdoors recharges me every time,” she wrote in a post on her Instagram account. They also attended the Time100 Next Gala together in October 2023 in New York City and Bry was one of the most honored that night, with an elegant black suit
Bry has been flaunting her engagement ring since last September and, according to a series of photos from the moment, the engagement took place during a vacation with Hurts, before the NFL season began
The scene was decorated with candles, a violinist and red roses. Days after their engagement, Burrows and Hurts appeared together on the red carpet at The Evolution of the Black Quarterback in NY.
