With the rematch against Artur Beterbiev just around the corner, Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol is in the spotlight as he is expected to emerge victorious from the big fight in Saudi Arabia. This is in contrast to the first meeting between the two at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, where Beterbiev was the winner by majority decision.

The same venue will host the rematch on February 22 and in the Arab world the echoes of that first meeting can be heard, just as in the head of the man born in Tokmak, Kyrgyzstan, do the events that have been dragging on in his personal life because of his relationship with Ekaterina, his ex-wife, who today hates him with a special grudge that has become the talk of the boxing world and the gossip press that also surrounds him

Dmitry and Ekaterina were married on July 13, 2013, and were together for 16 long years, but something broke in 2023 and it all ended up in court, even though they have two children, Miron and Nikon, of whom she now has custody now that there is a child support lawsuit for which she receives the ridiculous amount of $1,100 a month.

Ekaterina capitalizes on her hatred

Ekaterina met Dmitry on a flight in 2007, even before the boxer made his professional debut, and although everything seemed to be going well between them, things took a turn that today keeps the boxer in a conflict as tough as his fights, but in the ring of real life.

Ekaterina has capitalised on her hatred of her ex-husband to gain followers on her Instagram account, so she is already considered an influencer with some weight on that platform
