Luka Doncic and Anamaria Goltes have shared a remarkable journey together, from teenage romance to long-distance challenges, and now the joys of parenthood.
While Doncic continues to make headlines with his stellar performances on the basketball court, Goltes has quietly built an impressive career in modeling and fashion.
Born on April 30, 1998, in Slovenia, Anamaria Goltes graduated from the University of Ljubljana, the oldest and largest university in her country, where she studied at the school of economics and business.
Her modeling career began in 2017, and she quickly gained attention as a brand ambassador for Lisca Lingerie. She later signed with Immortal Models Management and appeared in campaigns for Slovenian jeweler Zlatarna Celje.
In October 2021, Goltes launched her own fashion brand, and in 2020, she expressed interest in designing fitness clothing, although there have been no updates on this venture since.
The couple’s story is rooted in a lifelong connection. They first met at just 12 years old and have been inseparable ever since.
In 2018, Goltes shared a post on Instagram with photos of them dancing, captioned, “People have best friend, boyfriend, true love. I’m lucky they are all the same person.”
Their relationship reached a new milestone on July 7, 2023, when they became engaged at Lake Bled in Slovenia – a date chosen to honor Doncic‘s jersey number, 77.
They welcomed their daughter, Gabriela, in December 2023, adding a new chapter to their life together.
Life in the United States and Family Dynamics
Moving from Slovenia to the United States posed challenges for Goltes, but she gradually adapted to her new environment.
A year after the move, she shared on Instagram, “Dallas is a lot like Europe. I love Dallas. It reminds me of home.”
Beyond their daughter, the Doncic family includes three dogs: Hugo, a Pomeranian; Gia, a White Swiss Shepherd; and Viki, a large breed dog.
Goltes has spoken fondly of her time in quarantine with Doncic and their pets, saying, “I love that I get to spend some time with Luka, Hugo, and Gia in quarantine.
“We don’t get to spend that many days together because we are always working on our individual things. So being able to spend time together feels very good.”
Goltes remains one of Doncic‘s most devoted supporters, regularly attending his games and showing her enthusiasm by wearing his No. 77 jersey.
Recently, she shared a photo from a Lakers game, cheering on Doncic alongside their daughter. Her unwavering support highlights the strong bond they share, both on and off the court.
From teenage sweethearts to parents navigating life in a new country, Luka Doncic and Anamaria Goltes have built a life together that balances career ambitions, family, and love.
Their story continues to captivate fans, reflecting a partnership that has grown stronger with every stage of life.
