The last Grand Slam of the year is just around the corner. The 2025 US Open will be held from August 24 to September 7 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York, with the participation of the best tennis players in the world, including the great Spanish hope: Carlos Alcaraz.

Important dates of the US Open

Although the main draw kicks off on Sunday, August 24, the event runs for three weeks. The first week, from August 18-23, will be the traditional Fan Week, with free access to training sessions, qualifying matches and special events

This year, as a new feature, the mixed doubles tournament will be held during this first week (August 19 and 20) at Arthur Ashe and Louis Armstrong stadiums, with a $1 million purse for the winning pair.

The draw for the main draw will take place on Thursday, August 22 at 18:00 (local time) in New York. From that moment on, the path of Carlos Alcaraz and the rest of the favorites to the title will be officially known.

The exact time of Alcaraz’s debut will be known after the draw on the 22nd.Alcaraz will make his debut during the early days of the tournament, between Sunday 24 and Tuesday 26 August, depending on how the schedule is distributed.
