No doubt, the WNBA Draft 2025 is giving a lot to talk about. With Paige Bueckers chosen as number one by the Dallas Wings, the predictions about her arrival are coming true, but a question arises: when will we see her on the court?
The UConn player has caused quite a stir and her impact is already being compared to that of Caitlin Clark when she joined the Indiana Fever. And this is already a fact, as season tickets for the 2025 season are already sold out.
Even with all the success of her choice, Paige doesn’t have it easy. The Wings are coming off of throwing away their three-year playoff streak by winning only nine games last season. That’s why Dallas is fully confident that her addition will help the team achieve new and important victories.
When does Bueckers make her WNBA debut?
Even if we want to see her soon, we will have to wait a month for her first commitment with Dallas. On May 16, the Wings will host the Minnesota Lynx, the Western Conference champions, and we will be able to enjoy Paige and her team against Napheesa Collier‘s team.
In addition, they will also host the Seattle Storm at home and then go on the road for the next four games.
When will we see a Bueckers vs. Clark?
The answer is soon. June 27 will be the first of four games between the Fevery and Wings. They will play at Indiana on June 13, Texas on Aug. 1 and the Fever again on Aug. 12. As in the NCAA, now we will see them face each other in the WNBA.
