NFL fans, here comes “America’s Team!” the Dallas Cowboys begin their preseason journey, with a roster full of injuries, with a lot of faith. Up to 10 injured and the season hasn’t even started yet! Oops!
The first rival of the silver and blue team will be the Los Angeles Rams, at the SoFi Stadium, home of the Rams, in Inglewood, California
It will be the first opportunity to see Brian Schottenheimer‘s team in action after this week’s joint training sessions with Sean McVay‘s charges.
Cowboys vs Rams: Date, time and how to watch
The game is at 6 p.m. Dallas time (Central United States). The broadcast for the whole country – of course, it’s the Cowboys! – will be on CBS 11 and Telemundo 39, for the Hispanic audience
You can also listen to the game on the radio, thanks to 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM) and in Spanish via 107.5 La Grande (KMVK-FM).
For Los Angeles, the game will be broadcast on KABC-7, with commentary by J.B. Long, Mina Kimes and Maurice Jones-Drew, and Curt Sandoval from the sidelines. It will also be available for local streaming on the official Rams app and on therams.com.
Rematch between the Cowboys and Rams
This is not the first time that both teams have met in preseason. On August 11, 2024, they also played in California and that day the Rams won 13-12
For those who don’t remember, Stetson Bennett threw for 224 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions, while Jordan Whittington was the most productive receiver with six catches for 74 yards
Dallas will have to do some juggling, looking here and there; adjusting pieces because of injuries and evaluating the depth of its roster before the official start.
Dallas’ upcoming preseason commitments
After this debut against Los Angeles, the Cowboys will continue their schedule with:
- Friday, August 15: vs. Miami Dolphins
- Friday, August 22: vs. New England Patriots
- Both games will serve to fine-tune details ahead of the start of the regular season, where Dallas is looking to be a serious contender in the NFC.
The table is set, let’s just enjoy this dish.
