Mexico will face Canada in the semifinals of the Nations League, a crucial match in their aspirations to finally become champions of the tournament

The SoFi Stadium will be the venue that will host the match from which the second finalist of the competition will emerge.

We will previously know the other title contender, from the match between the United States and Panama.

So far, El Tri has reached the semifinals in all editions of the Nations League, but has yet to lift the title, as it has fallen twice in the final against its arch-rival: the United States.

Javier Aguirre’s pupils reached the semifinals after beating Honduras 4-2 on aggregate. The Mexicans will try to get the result with the help of their strikers Santiago Gimenez, who plays for AC Milan, and Raul Jimenez, a Fulham player.

For its part, Canada wants to reach the final of the Nations League for the second time. It should be remembered that to reach the semifinals, it thrashed Suriname 4-0 in the quarterfinals.

It was in 2023 when the Maple Leafs team reached the final, losing to the United States.

The Canadian national team will be hoping that forwards Jonathan David of Lille and Alphonso Davies of Bayern Munich will tip the scales in their favour.
