What is an exhibition fight in boxing?
An exhibition fight is a non-profit event in contact sports, although we know that this will not be the case for the fight between Tyson and Paul.
Generally a boxing match in which the participants fight, usually for between three and eight rounds; they may use large gloves to minimize damage from punching or impact on the fighters, headers and non-boxing related clothing.
Many exhibition fights involve current or former world champions, and are held for charity or public entertainment purposes.

- Rounds: 3 to 8 in exhibition; 12 in official boxing.

Exhibition fights have no judges, so there is no winner and loser.
Rules for the Tyson vs Paul fight
As for the rules, there will be eight two-minute rounds comprising this fight, with the biggest age difference between fighters in professional boxing history: 57-year-old Tyson and 26-year-old Paul.
They will use 14-ounce gloves and will not wear headgear when they step into the ring at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
