The Unrivaled League has finally arrived with the goal of continuing to revolutionize women’s sports. The season kicked off last Friday and is scheduled to run for eight weeks until March 17, 2025.

The debut was a resounding success, with everyone talking about how good it was both on the court and on television. The first game sold out the Miami venue with 850 people in attendance and the matches were very entertaining and close.

The games are played on a full but compressed court, with the games divided into four seven-minute quarters. An innovative aspect is that the final quarter is played to a “target score” of 11 points more than the leading team at the end of the third quarter.

Unrivaled has one of the highest average salaries in the history of women’s professional sports, with a salary fund of more than $8 million, which was a determining factor in the WNBA stars’ agreement to participate in the project.
