With the Kansas City Chiefs set to face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX on February 9, one of the hottest topics surrounding the game isn’t just about football-it’s about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift‘s future together.
As Kelce prepares to help his team chase a historic three-peat, fans and oddsmakers are speculating whether he might take the opportunity to get down on one knee and propose to his superstar girlfriend if the Chiefs win.
Betting odds on a Super Bowl proposal
According to FanDuel Sportsbook in Canada, Kelce has an 11.76 percent chance of proposing to Swift on the field after a Chiefs victory. The sportsbook has set the odds at +750, meaning that a $10 bet would win $75 if it actually happens.
However, the odds overwhelmingly favor Kelce not proposing, set at -1500, which suggests a 93.75 percent likelihood that no proposal will take place on Super Bowl Sunday.

The couple, who started dating in the summer of 2023, has been a constant topic of speculation, especially since Swift was spotted wearing an infinity ring in New York City earlier this month.
While an infinity ring doesn’t necessarily indicate an engagement, some fans believe it’s a sign that a proposal could be imminent.
Even if Kelce plans to pop the question, several logistical hurdles could complicate a public proposal on the field.
For starters, Swift watches games from a private luxury box, meaning she would need to make her way down to the field after the game, something that isn’t always easy given postgame security measures and celebrations.
Although Swift was on the field last year when the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers, she was not part of the official postgame broadcast celebrations. It remains unclear how quickly she was able to join Kelce on the field, or if she would even make it in time for a potential proposal moment.
Additionally, for any of this speculation to matter, the Chiefs have to win. Given that Kansas City is favored by two points over Philadelphia, their victory is not guaranteed, and it’s unlikely Kelce would be in the mood to propose after a Super Bowl loss.
Engagement rumors surrounding Kelce and Swift have intensified in recent weeks. NBC’s Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager recently predicted that an engagement is on the horizon.
“It’s happening,” Bush Hager confidently stated during a recent broadcast.
However, sources close to Swift have indicated that while the relationship is serious, she is not rushing into an engagement. According to a report from InStyle, Swift “isn’t in a hurry to get engaged but is definitely thinking about the future with Travis.”
