Fans believe if Travis Kelce wins the Super Bowl and proposes to Taylor Swift then it proves the NFL is rigged in favour of the Kansas City Chiefs, as they bid to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9.
The 35-year-old tight end is gunning for his third championship ring in three years and his fourth overall before there is a consensus that he could retire from the sport as arguably the greatest player in his position.
And one way to sign off is a theory he could finally ask his girlfriend to marry him after around 18 months of dating with rumors continuing to grow that an engagement announcement is due in 2025.
Whilst it would mark a fairytale ending to his time in the sport in front of an estimated 120 million viewers, and a transition to a new phase of his life, fans aren’t convinced and believe it will only prove the NFL is rigged.
One user wrote to X.com, formerly Twitter, “If this happens – the whole relationship is PR stunt like I feared. No way Taylor wants this done in public given her desire privacy needs.”

And a third commented, “If this happens the league is confirmed fraud.”

As a result, Fanduel Sportsbook are offering +750 odds and BetMGM are offering +800 on the tight end to propose. However, they offer -1500 and -2000 for Kelce not to make the gesture on the night.
Swift is expected to attend the football game with some stars of the celebrity scene such as Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco, Sabrina Carpenter and Ice Spice (Isis Naija Gaston).
