The Kansas City Chiefs‘ Travis Kelce reveals Taylor Swift hasn’t managed to convince him to look after his skin, as the 35-year-old tight end admits the most he gets is from beard wash and shampoo in the shower.
The NFL star and the billionaire singer have been dating since August 2023 and can often be spotted together in Missouri or New York City, yet despite their proximity, Swift‘s own skincare hasn’t rubbed off on him.
The revelation came in the latest episode of his podcast, which he shares with his older brother Jason, as he admitted he doesn’t even bother with sun protection and to the contrary, values the feeling of the destructive ultraviolet rays on his face.
“I’m not gonna lie, Abigail [a fan caller], I’m right there with him,” Travis said on the New Heights podcast, after Jason said he doesn’t use a product to clean his face. “I don’t do anything on the face.

“Other than when I shampoo, I might just wash off some of the stuff. I do apply beard wash but nothing for the actual skin. I like just some good sun. Get some good sun on the skin, that’s my routine.”
Spending too much time in the sun can give you with a nice tan, but it can also be very dangerous to short and long term health. Sunstrokes and sunburn are immediately possible, whilst longer impacts can include an increased risk of cancer, as well as accelerated aging.
The Centre for Disease Control recommends staying in the shade, wearing clothing that protects the arms and legs, wearing a hat and sunglasses and using sunblock with a Sun Protection Factor of a minimum of 15 or more. UV exposure tends to peak from 12:00-16:00.

Through her relationship with the football player, Swift has become an increasingly familiar presence at the Arrowhead Stadium and that trend will continue in the AFC Divisional Game after Kelce confirmed to Pat McAfee she will be there.
