The 2025 NFL regular season got underway on Thursday night, with the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys delivering a nail-biting contest. The defending champions came out on top, paving the way for the team they beat in last season’s Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs, to follow up on Friday night.
The NFL sent the Chiefs to Brazil for their opening game, where they will face AFC West rivals the Los Angeles Chargers in Sao Paulo. Tons of eyes would have been on this primetime game anyway, but Kansas City is in the spotlight once again this season, thanks to Travis Kelce returning for what very well could be his last year in the league.

Fans of Kelce and Taylor Swift wanted to see how the player showed up to the first game. After all, it would be his first official gameday fit since becoming engaged. “Killa Trav” certainly didn’t disappoint.
The 35-year-old showed up in pure style, rocking a black suit with contrast stitching, courtesy of KidSuper. He also sported black loafers and black sunglasses.
Kelce is entering his 13th season in the NFL, all of which have been with the Chiefs. After a down year in 2024, Kelce wants to get back to big performances alongside Patrick Mahomes. It starts in Sao Paulo against the Chargers.
