Following a crushing Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Kansas City Chiefs‘ offseason was thrown for a loop. The team went into the game feeling great and looking to cement their legacy as a dynasty. Instead, the loss brought about tons of question marks about the future of the franchise.

The biggest question mark was the future of Travis Kelce. At 35 years old, Kelce was ready to face a decision to retire or not. Kelce was emotionally distraught following the Super Bowl, so it was unclear just how long it would take him to make a decision. Thankfully for the Chiefs, Pat McAfee reported on Thursday that Kelce was coming back. Kelce, indirectly, confirmed the news a few hours later.

Travis Kelce will return for 2025 NFL season with Kansas City Chiefs

The New Heights social media account posted a video confirming the news, and Kelce accepted a collab for the post on his Instagram page. After all the rumors and speculation, Kelce confirms it in a fun way.

In the video, using the famous Wolf of Wall Street “I’m not leaving” meme, Kelce plays the role of Jordan Belfort. Some of the cameos got fans laughing, as Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, Brett Veach and Clark Hunt made appearances as floating heads. Even Jason Kelce, wearing a Chiefs mask, showed up too.

Kelce has yet to actually say anything himself about his future since the Super Bowl loss, but it sounds like he will explain everything in next week’s episode of the podcast.
