Experts say Travis Kelce has one of the highest football IQs in the NFL. The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end’s quick thinking often gives him a huge advantage over his rivals; however, even he wasn’t prepared to answer a surprise question about his girlfriend, Taylor Swift on his own TV show.
One of Kelce’s many jobs off the field is hosting the quiz show “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity,” where contestants try to outsmart entertainment personalities.
Kelce has proven himself to be a charismatic and entertaining host who knows how to carry the show with rhythm and agility. However, the preview for the next episode showed an unusual stumble by the NFL star, caused by an unexpected question that contained a Swift-related clue.

Kelce trips over Taylor Swift
“Nicole has 98 beads to make six friendship bracelets,” Kelce began. “If each bracelet has an equal number of beads, what is the fewest number of leftover beads she can have?” The question, of course, refers to the friendship bracelets popularized by Swift that her fans love and hoard.
Ever the professional, Kelce tried to get on with the show, but one of his guests, Lala Kent, couldn’t help but have a little fun with her host. “Travis, do you know anyone who likes friendship bracelets like that?” the Vanderpump Rules star asked.
Nevertheless, it’s hard to catch twice off guard a person who can catch a speeding ball in mid-air while a 220-pound linebacker is charging at him. “I know a few. Might have converted them into Chiefs fans. I don’t know. We’ll see,” Kelce replied, coming out of the jam unscathed.
Travis has made a good impression as a TV host
It’s not just his work as a host; Kelce has also made an excellent impression behind the cameras. On her podcast “Give Them Lala,” Kent explained that Kelce always behaves like a gentleman, especially with female guests.
Although the show is airing these weeks, the recordings were done during the offseason. These days, Kelce and his Chiefs are preparing to face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, looking for the unprecedented three-peat that will put their names in NFL history.
