Last Friday, March 27, 2027, Tiger Woods once again found himself in off-the-course trouble. Around midday, his name began appearing across headlines as reports surfaced detailing what had happened to the golf GOAT.

It turned out that his Land Rover ended up overturned on a street very close to his home. It was immediately reported that he was being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).

Although the toxicology test came back negative, when he was asked to provide a urine sample and refused, authorities decided to detain him and require him to serve the mandated hours of arrest established by Florida law for this type of offense.

It is worth remembering that this is not the first time this has happened to Woods, but rather the fourth occasion in which he has been involved in automobile incidents, previously in 2009, 2017, and 2021. Regarding this situation, many have spoken out, calling for an exemplary punishment for Woods.

This Monday, March 30, 2026, another voice joined in, as Emmanuel Acho, a former NFL linebacker, added himself to those criticizing the golfer.

Tiger, you got too many responsibilities, too much money, too much wisdom, and too many grey hairs to, at this big age, in this big year of 2026, be going to jail for DUIs.”…”You got kids, you got a family name, you’re an incredibly impactful, significant, and successful figure. And beyond all of that, this isn’t your first incident. So, for me, this is what happens when you let too many things go by.

Emmanuel Acho wants the Commanders to strengthen their defense

On his podcast Speakeasy, last week, the former defensive player urged Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn to reinforce the defense in free agency so they can once again surprise the entire league.

Dan Quinn knows exactly what he needs.” … “He needs to get younger, he needs to get more pass-rushers, and he needs to get more depth. And that’s exactly what he got. When you look at what the Commanders did, they did not make any splash signings. But they made a lot of really good signings.

The sharp decline the Commanders experienced in 2025 was largely due to injuries suffered by Jayden Daniels, who was unable to remain consistently available. After being in contention for a spot in Super Bowl LX, they finished with a 5-12 record.

It appears that heading into the 2026 season, things will be very different, and the team is expected to experience a resurgence that could help make the NFC East the most competitive division in the entire NFL.

The Commanders hold the seventh overall pick in the upcoming draft, set to take place very soon in April. In addition to free agency, Washington must also find key contributors through the selection of players coming out of the collegiate ranks.
