Tiger Woods is reportedly in a new relationship with former model Vanessa Trump, ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., so what does the golf legend’s ex-wife make of it?
Vanessa and Tiger are said to have grown close due to their shared residence in Florida’s Palm Beach community and their claimed romance reportedly began around Thanksgiving, gained attention after they were seen together at the Genesis Invitational.
So what does the mother of Woods‘ two children, his ex-wife Elin Nordegren, think of the new developments? The answer is she was reportedly surprised by the news because the pair typically enjoy a respectful and communicative co-parenting relationship.
“Her response at first was like, ‘Seriously? A Trump? For real,'” a source told the dailymail.com of the Nordegren‘s reaction to the new relationship. “She was more amused than anything.
“But she quickly accepted it. They’re not the type to give each other their blessing per se, but they keep each other in the loop.”
Woods faces comeback setback
Vanessa divorced Donald Trump Jr. in 2018 and has kept a low profile in recent years. However, if her relationship with Woods progresses, they could become a high-profile golf power couple as she returns to the spotlight.
Meanwhile, Woods has encountered another setback in his golf career, thus meaning Vanessa may need to wait a bit longer before bathing in the limelight after he suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in his left heel.
Dr. Charlton Stucken performed a minimally invasive procedure to repair the injury and Woods assured fans that the surgery went well and he is now focused on recovery.
“As I began to ramp up my training, I felt a sharp pain in my left Achilles,” Woods posted online. which was deemed to be ruptured.”
The first golf major of the year is the Masters will be hosted at the Augusta National Golf Club from April 10-13.
