The images of a veteran Philadelphia Phillies fan shouting and threatening a man, who grabbed the ball from a home run by Harrison Bader to give it to his young son, is going viral.
It happened at LoanDepot Park in Miami during the MLB game that the Phillies won 9-3 against the Miami Marlins.
The veteran fan, who has already been dubbed “Karen” or “Krazy Karen”, harassed the father in front of his son to give him the ball.
“That was our ball!” the furious Phillies fan told the man.
After a few seconds of discussion, the man gave in to the furious fan.
“He yelled in my ear, ‘That’s my ball!’ super loud. He gave me a fright… I just wanted him to go away.”
“She yelled in my ear, ‘That’s my ball!’ super loud. It scared me… I just wanted her to go away,” explained Drew Feltwell, the man harassed by ‘Karen’, to explain the incident and why he finally gave the ball to the woman.
After the game, the incident reached the ears of the Philadelphia Phillies players, who welcomed Drew Feltwell’s son and gave him several gifts.
