Atlanta Dream was dealt a tough blow after Indiana Fever pulled out an important 77-60 win on Tuesday, forcing a third Playoff game.

The support from the Fever fans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse had a big impact on the players, but one of those in attendance starred in a fun moment alongside Caitlin Clark and stole all the looks: her boyfriend.

CC and Connor’s interaction amuses fans

The 1-1 series tie comes after a difficult season for Stephanie White’s players, as injuries and losses were not easy to deal with. With six players injured, five of them for the remainder of the season, it was a clear example of resilience for Fever to qualify that still kept them in the playoff picture.

In addition to the loss of CC, Damiris Dantas, Sophie Cunningham, Aari McDonald, Sydney Colson and Chloe Bibby, being only the first of them the only one with chances of returning to play.

However, in Game 2, despite the fact that Clark was off the court, she stole the spotlight. Cheering on her teammates, exposing her joy and anger throughout the game, an interaction with her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery brought several smiles to fans’ faces.

In a viral video on X from the TikTok account @concertfootagebyriley, you can see how at first, Clark looked annoyed and then turn to someone on the other side of the court. Sitting next to Indiana Pacers star and loyal CC and Fever fan Tyrese Haliburton, her boyfriend Connor was responding to her.

Of course, this funny and cute scene didn’t go unnoticed by fans, who commented:

Omg!!! This is awesome! I’ve heard that they communicate in games but I had yet to see it! Thank You for sharing!!!” wrote one of them. “Elite lip Reading,” commented another user jokingly. “They were made for each other,” another follower stated.

The couple began dating in April 2023, after meeting during their college days and after Clark led Iowa to the NCAA title. They have been together for just over two years and have shared photos and moments together on social media on several occasions. Now, this new and fun moment will remain as another memory for their fans.

Meanwhile, Indiana will play the third and final game next Thursday, September 18 at the Gateway Center, where they will try to beat Dream and move on to the next round of the Playoffs.
