Since retiring from football, Terry Bradshaw, four-time Super Bowl champion with the Pittsburgh Steelers, has faced personal challenges that took him far from his playing shape.
The former quarterback revealed that after being prescribed medication for rheumatoid arthritis, his weight jumped from 215 to 268 pounds.
“It took forever to figure out what steroid worked. I gained a lot of weight and got big. And I just couldn’t get it off,” he told FOX 32 Chicago.
With the support of his wife Tammy and a new treatment plan, Bradshaw has now lost 48 pounds and says he feels better than ever. While rumors circulated about his potential retirement from Fox Sports, the NFL analyst made it clear his goal is to stay active until age 80.
“It’s a good feeling, a really good feeling,” he said, looking ahead to the 2025 NFL season with optimism.
