Taylor Swift‘s record-breaking Eras Tour is finally receiving a curtain call, and a new preview from her upcoming Disney+ docuseries shows just how much the project demanded from her.

“Good Morning America” shared a fresh look at The End of an Era on Thursday morning, revealing Swift wiping away a tear as she discusses the pressure and scale of a tour that reshaped the music world.

In the clip, Swift sits alongside her mother, Andrea Swift, as the two talk through the sheer amount of work involved.

The tour kept expanding, and at one point had to absorb an entirely new album era for later international stops. Swift, clearly moved while reflecting on the process, lays out how challenging the undertaking was.

“This is the biggest challenge any of us have ever done. We had to be all hands on deck … every single night we’re gonna do everything in our power to blow your mind,” she says.

The tour did exactly that. By the time Swift wrapped, the Eras Tour had become a cultural event with its own gravitational pull, lifting local economies and breaking global revenue records.

Analysts estimate the tour generated at least $5 billion in the United States alone, cementing it as the highest grossing tour ever documented.

Beyond the numbers, the shows became a social and artistic moment, drawing fans of all ages and reshaping the concert experience.

A final look behind the scenes of a global phenomenon

The docuseries will unfold in six episodes on Disney+. The first two premiere Friday, December 13, which doubles as Swift‘s 36th birthday.

The second pair arrives December 19, and the final episodes stream December 26.

Viewers will see how the tour came together, not just onstage but in the long hours of rehearsal rooms, production meetings and creative rewrites. The series also captures the evolution of Swift‘s personal life during the nearly two-year run.

Travis Kelce appears in the project, marking the first time fans will see how their relationship intersected with life on the road.

Musical guests such as Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter and Ed Sheeran also show up throughout the documentary.
