Whilst Travis Kelce stole the show on the field, all eyes turned to Taylor Swift‘s new infinity ring as fans go crazy speculating the Kansas City Chiefs ace and the billionaire popstar could be set to get engaged.
The 35-year-old Cruel Summer singer was spotted dining in New York City on Friday with the jewellery adorning her finger, adding further fuel to the notions Kelce could be poised to pop the question imminently after almost 18 months of dating.
“Traditionally, these bands are thought of as a ‘pre-engagement ring’, as they signify devotion or ‘promise’ for a future engagement,” one fan posted to X.com, formerly Twitter, as other Swifties praised them for the theory.
Another user replied, “Interesting.”
And a second said, “Oh that’s a pretty interesting one bestie.”
Whilst a third wrote, “Firmly believe its already locked down & they are at least engaged. Theyll reveal to fans when they need to or its the right time with their respective careers.”

Fans divided over infinity ring
It could be an announcement that breaks the internet by putting an end to all of the romantic struggles Swift has battled through in her young life, as she finally finds her happy ending by getting married.
Whilst for Kelce, it could signify his step into his post-NFL life after a tough 2024/25 season with the Chiefs came on the back of his ever-growing business portfolio, which included his acting debut in Grotesquerie.
However, some Swift fans are also exercising caution by pointing out it could just simply be jewellery and nothing beyond that, which would be consistent with how the couple play down rumors.
One fan contested the idea by saying, “Her ex allegedly gifted her an infinity bracelet that she wore all the time and they weren’t engaged so … it’s just jewelry until she says otherwise!”
