But beyond these topics, she also shared a surprising and unique anecdote about the moment the Kansas City Chiefs selected Xavier Worthy.

She was overcome with excitement when she learned that Xavier Worthy from the Texas Longhorns was drafted by the Chiefs in the NFL Draft 2024, even screaming when it happened.

In response to Taylor Swift‘s comments, the University of Texas reacted with a post on their X account.

“Taylor knows ball,” they wrote in the post, which featured the star’s appearance on New Heights alongside a highlight reel of Xavier Worthy‘s best plays.

The Chiefs‘ wide receiver had a highly successful rookie year as a professional, playing in all 17 regular-season games, recording 59 receptions for 638 yards and six touchdowns.
