The Kelce family is in mourning. Maureen Maguire, Ed Kelce’s girlfriend, passed away on August 2 at the age of 74, surrounded by her loved ones.
Jason and Travis’ father shared his partner’s obituary on Facebook to announce the news. Although he did not comment on the matter after that post, he shared some interesting photos of her to remember her. But one of them caught the attention of fans.
Swift and Maguire’s closeness
On her obituary page, Kelce posted a photo with Maureen on Saturday Night Live, when Travis was the guest host in March 2023.
However, among the photos Ed shared, he included one of him and his girlfriend posing with his youngest son’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, wearing Kansas City Chiefs gear. In addition, the 14-time Grammy winner is holding a card with her name on it and a friendship bracelet. “Maureen and I with Taylor,” he wrote.
In addition, in an interview Ed gave to the Los Angeles Times in 2023, he commented that the moment the two met was very funny and revealed his girlfriend’s sense of humor. He revealed that he and the singer were taking a selfie at a game when they heard Maureen jokingly say, “Hey, that’s my boyfriend,” causing them both to laugh.

In the obituary, it was revealed that Maureen “also grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch.”
